He don't need to know that me an' his girl go at it every night they're not together. No, that'll just make 'im upset.
And you don't wanna see Jack Kelly get upset.
It's not that Sarah's an evil lyin' bitch or that I'm a horny girlfriend-stealer. No, well, maybe that first part about me is true, but certainly not the girlfriend-stealer part.
Jacky and Sarah's a nice couple. They e'en look nice together. But I found somethin' out about Sarah. An' lemme jus' say that it ain't the best thing that could come out about 'er now.
No, she ain't pregnant. I'm sure Jack takes care o' that 'cause I sure do. Don't need a baby poppin' out wit' me charmin' green eyes while Jack an' Sarah both have brown. That'd cause some wonderment, all right.
She's okay in bed. Certainly not the best, I mean, what with sleepin' with Jack an' all. I 'spect he's not that great of a lover, but with me teachin' her, Sarah'll be the best. Not better'n me, that's for sure. She'll prolly even be the best Jack ever had.
Sarah's a good girl. Not when she's in bed with me, but overall, she's a good kid. Nice and polite to everyone she meets, her parents, the newsies. 'S what attracted her to me in the first place.
I'm afraid she don't like me much. But only because what I knows about 'er. We were fine an' dandy friends until I found out. Skittery wasn't happy either, on account o' it includes him too.
You know how ol' poets are always writin' about love triangles? Well, we my friends, have a love pentagon. Pentagon has five sides, David told me so himself.
Jack loves Sarah and Sarah loves Jack, righ'? Okay, well, we'll say that I love her too... but only for the sake of the pentagon.
Sarah also enjoyed spending time with Skittery. But Skittery only spent time with her to get to know Jack a little better. So, when Sarah found out about Skittery, she wasn't too happy. Neither of them were happy when I found out.
But I'm Brooklyn. It's my job to know.
So I caught Sarah blackmailin' Skit and he's been payin' her off. Most o' the time, it's money.
Other times, it ain't.
But Sarah's a crummy blackmailer. And that's how I caught 'er.
So nows I'm the one blackmailin' Sarah. Make sure she gets a taste o' her own medicine because me and Skittery, we got somethin' special. We ain't pansies or nothin' like that. But I can tell you, Sarah sure knows what's up now.
Sometimes, when I take her, I leave marks on her. You know, to show her that I'm boss. I dunno what she tells Jack or if he even notices.
But Skittery just takes care o' himself and avoids me an' Jack.
So, you see? Love is a dirty game.
Jack Kelly will never know that Spot Conlon is fucking his girl. That's because Sarah Jacobs will never tell.
And Spot Conlon knows that for a fact.
