April 24th A Glorious Day |
The weather was perfect, no question about it. We had three new time players, John, Matt, and Jake. John showed up with an old tricked out Shocker previously owned by his semi-pro uncle. Unfortunatly for John, the spring couldn't be cut and the velocity could not be brought down to a safe rec-ball speed. John had to settle for using the Spyder Sonix, but he still had a good time. |

We started the day with a good 'ole game of speedball after chronoing everyone's guns and fiddling with John's for a little bit. The game was finished quickly and everyone headed back, and it was decided that we would try a game of Capture the Flag. The teams were set, Intrpeid (minus Brendan) vs Rob, Tom, Matt, John, Jake, and Ron. Josh and Tom were medics, who couldn't be regenerated. Any hit below the sholders could be healed by a medic. |

Team Intrpeid didn't do so hot in the Capture the Flag game. We did manage to hold out for some time, but eventually we were out numbered and overrun. Upon deciding that that was enough woodsball for the day, we played some speedball for the remainder of the day. |

The first speedball game played thereafter was with the same teams. Team Intrepid showed no mercy in avenging their previous lose. The rest of the day showed no outstanding plays by anyone person, but there was defanitly some serious skill being displayed all players. |
