| The day started out with an unusual twist- an appearance from the local law enforcement. Its not like we were doing anyhting illegal, because we weren't. Chaz was simply walking to my house, gun in hand, camo on, and a woman saw him walking an flipped out. To further her concern, Nick B. also decided to take adavantage of the excellent weather and walk to my house, and we all know how much he likes camo. Nick was fully decked out, and was also carrying his gun. The frightend citizen called the police who showed up moments later. Lucky for us my father is excellent at keeping his cool in tight situations, and he was able to calm the lady down, and talk to the police officer. After about thirty minutes of anticipation and wondering if we would be shut off from playing on our field, Lance came back and gave us the go ahead. | ||||||||||||||
| We played a couple speedball games with two well matched teams and then proceeded to try something new- attack and defend. In the first game, Joe, Cody, Josh, and myself were the defenders against Nick B, Tommy, Chaz, Rob, and Raf. Josh and Chaz were medics for their teams and with the rules fully understood and established, we started the first of two games. | ||||||||||||||
| In the first game, we held out for a good length of time, managing to keep our medic alive and narrowly avoid a capture of our flag by Nick B. We were also able to eliminate Chaz, and stop them from regenerating for some time. Eventually they regrouped and overtook our "base" and won the game. | ||||||||||||||
| Game number two wasn't any better. Cody decided to head in early, so it was just Josh, Joe, and me attacking five other players. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it was pretty bad. Joe, who is surprisingly stealthy, snuck around as me and Josh worked our way up the front. After a couple fire fights, our little trio was soon eliminated and the game was over. | ||||||||||||||
