The Wreck
Hey, this is what happens when a pole jumps out in front of you.  It ain't pretty.  Plus it takes absolutly forever to get the car fixed.  It spent the better part of two months in the shop,  about a month for the initial work, then a few more weeks for fixs that came up afterward.
This was a major ego basher, not only because my car was wrecked, but there was little reason for the incident to have happened.  My only excuse is that

1)  It was raining really hard the night I did this, and there was a ton of glare off the windshield.

2) There were cars parked closer to the pole than usual, and I didn't take that into account while going across the parking lot.
All these other cars appeared the morning after the accident.  Not only was my car wrecked, but hundreds of people got to take a real close look before I was able to see it in daylight.
You can see the pole I hit, at least the airbags didn't go off.  However it didn't move very far after the hit.  The left front was pretty screwed up.
One of the ironic things is that I just had the driver side fog light replaced.  You can see it broken elsewhere.  Then it gets completely destroyed when it goes head first into a concrete pole.  Too bad.
