Here are some of the cars that I would like to own in the future for various reasons.
This may seem like an odd car to want. It's 9 years old, has a forgettable 305ci v8 in it and the 3rd gen F-bodies were not world renouned for their handling. So, what gives? you may ask. Well, I would use this one 'cause it already has a stick shift on it, then drop in one of the beauties you see below. With all this new-found power the stock 5-speed will cry uncle in about a week. So, a T-56 six-speed off a new model Camaro, Firebird or 'vette will be needed. Using a stick shift car in the first place eliminates the need to get a pedal assembly and a few other items.

Also, these cars are generally easy to find and usually cheap. Their buildability is also a good trait for those of you who, like me don't have tons of money.
Car # 1 - 1992 Camaro RS

Well, this is different. Go from pure American muscle to a Japanese rally car. This car has taken the automotive press by storm, getting rave reviews everywhere I look. This is especially true from the American press, 'cause up till now we haven't had the turbo version that Japan and Europe have enjoyed for years.
This is the reason that this car shines. A 2.0 liter DOHC engine putting out 227hp @ 6,000rpm to all 4 wheels. Now, this is not 'Honda HP' where you get 170 horse but only 100 ft/lb of torque. This car actually can get out of your way with its 217ft/lb @ 4,000rpm. To put this in perspective, add ohh, 80hp to a car the size of a Neon. This may embarrass a few unsuspecting Mustangs. Hehehehe.
Car #3 - 2003+ Dodge Charger

This one is a few years off. I hope that this thing will be out by the time that I graduate from college. Finally, a rear drive car from Mopar that real people can actually afford. Not only that, but it's gonna have a v8 and (cross yor fingers) a stick shift.
