We our skeptics in our time . . . whatever you want to make of that

The Year is 2004, the time of year is volleyball season, the reason is . . . undetermined at this point, but what we do know is that matt hates us but he still plays his bass with us out of boredom.
Volleyball season is the time because the night we first played together we also went to the volleyball game due to a certain member's involvement with a certain volleyball player. Anyways, we had fun screwing around with some songs that Mike and Corey had written a while back and continued messing with them. Something clicked and, before you knew it, we were up all night piecing songs together. Matt still hating just about everything we came up with but still played along like a pro as our first songs came to be. "Don't Have To" and "When I Wake Up" and were born and we thought they were great. Looking back, they suck hard and will probably never be heard again. However, shortly there after, a new song was born to us. This one Matt would like and with Bryce's new beats we were off and running. This is a little known song that is one of all of our favorites titled none other than "Dissatisfaction". New songs would come and go but we, being a very self critical band, threw out many of them. Slowly but surely we would learn our instruments . . . and the rest is history.
Today we have more than enough songs we like to play and work on. Our newest project seems to be showcasing them where and whenever we can. Dates for upcoming gigs can be viewed on the Shows Page. We'd love to see you THERE!!!
Sincerely,
The Skeptics (Citizens of the Republic)
