Spanish Lake County Park
Spanish Trace Trail
Trila and Adam and I walked this trail around the Sunfish Lake. Gravel service road for the most part. Easy to walk. Many vines hanging from the trees. Totally different look from the other parks.
We found wild blackberrys and wild cherry trees along the way.
Pond on right of trail filled with duckweed
White Avens
Jewelweed-Popped open seed pod. It just explodes in your hand Also called Touch-me-not
Bindweed
Egret
Monarch
Two unknowns. The blue berries were on bushes. At the beginning of the trail they were totally white but by the end of the trail they were totally blue. The pretty green flower on the right was in the prairie and had this flower about 1/2 to 2/3's way up the stem.
