THE FROG BARKS AGAIN!
Every few months, the Skelts take over a fab roadhouse bar about an hour upstate from NYC called the Barking Frog. The Barking Frog is located in Beacon, NY, an up-and-coming burg on the Hudson River which houses the artsy Dia Center, Revolutionary War sites and even a Skelterian homestead. Skelter People swarm in from all corners of the tri-state area for these shows. The band even provides limited car service to and from the train for those riding up on the Metro-North (join our emailing list and find out more about this and the big afterparty!). Everyone convenes at the Barking Frog, where Skelter and Skelter People take over from 10-2 for more rock than you can shake a stick at. Cheap beer, good times...and I believe even a few surprise guest performers this time around.

The Barking Frog
By car:
From the South, take Route 9D north into Beacon until you get to Route 52 East (Teller Ave.). You'll know Route 52 by the head of George Washington, which was mounted at the crossroads as a warning to other poachers. Turn right onto Route 52 and follow it through town. The Barking Frog will be on your right side. The street number is 436 Fishkill Ave. (Route 52).
From the West, take Route 84 east across the Beacon-Newburgh Bridge. Follow 84 east a few miles to Route 52. Turn right on the Route 52 exit and follow the road a mile or so. The club will be on your left side. The street number is 436 Fishkill Ave. (Route 52).
From the East, take Route 84 west to Route 52. Exit to your right. When you get to the bottom of the ramp, turn left and follow the road a mile or so. The club will be on your left side. The street number is 436 Fishkill Ave. (Route 52).
By train:
Beacon is easily accessible by the MTA Metro-North Hudson Line. The Poughkeepsie train stops in Beacon.
