I Know A Place
I know a place, where no one ever goes,
There's peace and quiet, beauty and repose.
It's hidden in a valley, beside a mountain stream,
And lying in there beside the stream I find that I can dream.
Only of things of beauty to the eye,
Snow peaked mountains rising to the sky.
Now I know that God made this world for me.

One can't imagine herself as in a dream,
Climbing up a mountain, or down a steep ravine
The hidden beauty of this place ever shall stay,
To make this place a haven each and every day.
Oh how I wish I never had to leave,
All my life such beauty to receive,
Now I know that God made this world for me,
Oh yes for me.

Sitting silence beside the mountain stream,
I thank God for the vision of my dream.
The friends that have been made,
The joys that have been mine,
The chance for love and sharing.
'Neath the tall straight pines.
White clouds on high and blue skies up above,
May I always live the life I love.
Now I know that God has made this world for me
And you and everybody too.

As our camp closes, good-byes we have to say,
Being here together ends a perfect day.
The joys of friendship we have felt always will remain,
Deep within our hearts to be made the same again.
And as we leave we know we shall return,
To this plave to live and laugh and learn,
Now I know that God has made this world for me
And you and everybody too.
