Skeet says: Trackstar are yet another Promoter Stock Car Racing can be proud of. This year they are due to be promoting the BriSCA Formula One World Final at Incarace's Hednesford Raceway, and they are no stranger to holding big events. Skegness Stadium is Trackstar's main oval, and every year on the 2nd weekend of July, sees the "Funcoast" become the home of many of Scotland's big Formula 2 and Saloonstock car names. The attraction? The legendary "UK Speedweekend". Back in the days when Skegness was tarmac, Scottish drivers and fans used to make sure that for that specific weekend, Skegness was their only choice of destination. Nowadays Skegness is shale, but still the Scots descend upon the funcoast for some cracking racing.
