| The following pictures are of different lessons that the LifeSkills class created. To the right is their bulletin board. Under that is a black and yellow crayon-resist family portrait. Later in the semester, the LifeSkills assistant and I collaborated and made Tortoise and the Hare puppets to go along with a reading of the story and presenting the show to other students. In the far bottom left corner is Justin showing off his Tortoise and Hare puppets. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Above are the cool color-torn paper collages that the students made. Below is an adapted lesson that I did with the first graders. The LifeSkills class did texture rubbings over real leaves and them painted with the ink from tissue paper. In the next lesson the students painted fall trees to go along with their trees. They had a lot of fun dabbing with the paint and making a HUGE mess! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
