1986 Honda VF500

This is the only good pic I have of the motor cycle I once had. I traded a Cannondale road racing bicycle for it. The gas tank was dented from the previous owner dumping it at speed. The engine was shot, but those 4-cylinders would rev all the way up to it's 11,500 RPM red line. I got one summer's use out of it. Top speed was only 115MPH. (Which I read somewhere!) I sold it during the middle of the winter. Last I heard, the guy who bought it had $1000 in parts alone to fix the engine, and it was still nocking. The only things I ever did to it was fix the left rear blinker, change the oil, and change the plugs. I also spent a whole day while I was working at Kodak looking for hardware to fix the severe oil pan leak. RTV is really good stuff! Oh yeah, you could hold those mufflers to your eye and look right through them.
