Welcome to my Takara Jenny doll gallery! It's almost unbearable how cute some of these dolls are. I was hooked the first moment I saw a Jenny doll though. Younger looking and much cuter than Barbie, with a small bust and round face. I love my Barbies, don't get me wrong, but the Jenny and friends dolls have captivated me. A little tidbit for those who didn't know, Jenny used to be Barbie. Designed and marketed after the American Barbie flopped. Japanese mothers weren't about to buy such an adult looking doll for their little darlings. To be honest, I can understand that.
