Hi everybody, I'm moparbabe, like Sk said, we've known each other for some time now, and when he asked me to help him with this web site I thought to myself "oh boy what am I getting myself into". We all know how "vocal" Sk can be! But, when he started building a Chevy I couldn't resist, I thought this could be a great way to poke fun at him without him holding it against me!! As Sk told you I'm from Canada, you know igloos and dog sleds. I even have a little igloo garage for the Dart. "EH" Obviously by my name you can probably tell I'm a Dodge fan, but I give everyone respect who takes the time and money involved in restoring a muscle car, regardless what make and model it is. Even Sk who's building a Chevy these days. I have always had a passion for cars,stock cars, drag cars, just about any kind of vehicle that moves.

Six years ago I purchased a 76 Dart sport, I recently put in a new 360 crate motor, have replaced most of the interior and just had a body and paint job done on her. I have realized while I have been building her that "car people" are very cool people to spend time with. I go to car shows, cruise nights, swap meets and race tracks and most of the people there are just so willing to help one another, and have no problem sharing their knowledge, their parts or there man power with you, those are the types of people you want to build long lasting friendships with. Like I told you, Sk and I have known each other for some time. Over the past year I have gotten to know him very well. I think between his strongly opinionated personality and attitude towards women and my bad temper and stubbornness, this column could be a lot of fun and trust me, over the past year I've learned what buttons to push to get him going, its hilarious when he loses it...lol.

So if everyone could just be patient with me and give me some time to get the hang of things, I'm sure it should get pretty interesting in here. As for Pic of the Month, bribes don't work with me like they do with Sk, on the other hand compliments on my car probably will.. Well lets have fun with this and see how bad Sk picks on me next week!!!
