The college was started in 1998, with 180 students, 18 staff and 4 branches of B.E. In a short time span it has grown in size and stature and has at present more than 1800 students studying in 6 branches of B.E., MCA., M.Sc. Applied Science (Software Engineering), M.Sc. Applied Sciences (Computer Technology), Master of Business Administration, B.Sc. Applied Sciences in Information Technology and Computer Technology. To meet the rise in the students strength, the faculty strength has also risen to more than 150. There is a good team of supporting staff to assist the departmental work. The college has already carved a niche amongst the public, AICTE, DOTE and the University.

Anandamurugan, B.Sc., M.L.I.S., D.B.M., is the Librarian and he is supported by a team of qualified Library Assistants. * In addition we also have individual departmental libraries holding a stock of 5,000 books each.
