Hey people. Yet another federation has made it�s presence on the map. But is this just another federation? Umm, NO! I don�t think so. DEW was started by of course the original members of Dark Echo. It was an idea at first to have Dark Echo melt over into federations taking over the e-wrestling WORLD!!! Sorry I am getting ahead of myself. Yes but anyway we saw the real issue and thought we would put everything we hated about e-feds and made sure it wouldn�t happen with us. Granted DEW may have some flaws but things take time� they say �Practice Make�s perfect but no one�s perfect so why practice?� (Hah.) Want to know exactly who said that? Billie Joe Armstrong, lead singer of Green Day. What? Thought I would go through this article or magazine without saying it once? Yeah right, in your dreams. Anyway on to some pressuring issues.
Dark Echo is primarily myself, The Green Weasel, The Joker AKA our cute President Aaron Lee, Gary Wallace AKA our Commish Casaretti, and Morphine. Nytemare and Kid X were later added to the mix. Want the wind down on how we came to be? Well here it goes.
We�ll start with me because I AM THE ONLY CHIC! Well first I wasn�t as you saw today when DE first formed. Formally known as Frost Byte I helped dominant the fed in a stable called Sub Zero with Omega. Where we later added Beast (AKA Morphine) to the equation. Now before December 2001 Chaos. TCW�s second Pay-per-view, nothing seemed to be standing in our way. That is until mwah had to face up The Crow (AKA The Joker). I guess the jealousy ran deep with Omega and things began to get ugly and personal. That�s when Frost Byte began to drift basically only talking to Beast and Tricia who is Beast�s girlfriend. (They are SOOOOO cute together haha.) For weeks things would keep getting worse with Frost Byte ending up losing the title she had held for three months. On Valentine�s Day Frost Byte broke up with Omega revealing her budding romance with The Crow, ouch what a twist of events. Eventually during February�s 2002 Collision Beast and Frost Byte turned on Omega and showed the alliance with The Joker (AKA The Crow). So now you know how those three came to be.
Gary Wallace and The Joker are two men dominating the hardcore division. Well at least they were when I was in the North American race (cuz if TGW was in the Hardcore hehe lets not get into that). These two would put on some crazy matches including a c4 match that had ended in the co-ownership of the Hardcore title. Now these amigos had much found respect for each other but Joker being Joker just turned on him and went his own way. They eventually reconciled and went into a tag team called Hardcore Revolution.
Nytemare, well Nytemare is definitely an interesting character. As Frost Byte I fought him in a triangle match as my first match at TCW. He defeated me by pinning �The Man� Matt Brown. Two weeks later we fought again this time he was called Drayke Blade and the North American title was on the line. This time I became lucky and earned a win and a new pretty belt. Drayke would eventually return to the name Nytemare and we once AGAIN faced. This time at Collision where everything was set to go down and reveal that we were Dark Echo. When Nytemare and myself met it was for the first ever Cruiserweight championship. After a hard fought and respective battle I came on top receiving the title but not without a nod of respect for Nytemare. My bouts with Nytemare brought him to us. I realized his potential and knew what he was capable of. Needless to say he belongs with us in Dark Echo. It�s just some things that run through that man�s mind worries me.
Then there is Kid X. You may not know him well or see him around much but he is the older brother of our dear Joker, Ace Olen, That specifies that connection. Not to mention back in PSW Kid X and myself as TGW were in a stable known as The New Elite. Before we became stable mates we actually had a triangle match with another wrestler named Sett. It was for North American number one contendership. I ended up busting my knee in that match thanx to Kid X but still manage to overcome the odds and gain the win. Unfortunately couldn�t go ahead for the title shot. But Kid X and myself are still friend, having had a few encounters in the ring and outside but mostly just to mess with each other�s head and the mind of the crowd. It just so happen that I began to see Kid X�s younger brother in TCW. Isn�t it funny how things run in a circle?
So there you have it. In some way shape or form we have all wandering into our destiny of Dark Echo, Each taking the same road and where we are today. Currently Gary Wallace is in BSW. Nytemare and Morphine as well as The Joker remain in TCW. But Nytemare and Morphine are in DEW currently helping it get stabilized like me. Casaretti is our annoying Commish who won�t let us have any fun (just kidding.) and Aaron Lee is the president who needs to learn how to control his hands� ok, ok. That was out of line. But it was funny. Myself? I am on a much-needed vacation. I went from UWA straight to PSW then a month off between PSW to TCW then six months straight of wrestling in TCW. Then just to have a lil fun and show the new lil DEWlites who TGW was I wrestled with a mystery man who just so happened to be our lovely Prez, boy was that fun. Right now I am on the sunny beaches of Bahamas enjoying my vacation and getting some sun. Of course I am taking care of the magazine.
