AS I was walking up the Campus Club I was trying to see how many bodies were inside. Looked piss poor from where I was walking.I got greeted at the door by Ryan- the QUT activities guy -he told me there were 350 people and that was around 7pm. He was mighty chuffed he had organised the Porkers to play. 2 steps later -some extremely handsome guy gave me a hug. This was the start of my nite....
QUT Campus Club is SOOO huge it looked empty. Many people looked like students rather than Porkers nuts!
Beers- choice of $2.30 pots OR $6.90 jugs.... guess what I picked! (Gus refer to Wiseacre CD launch! ha!)
Bands before the Porkers stank! But here's some history Pete told me- the guy that plays bass for Pre Shrunk used to be in a ska band many years ago- called " Bouncing Soles".(could be spelt Souls- I darn well forget). Woah what happened to him? He's into this crap funky shit.

Mmmm Little Bitch, Pete dedicated to me- whatya reckon he's trying to tell me? Two bouncers- oi! one female as well- they really didn't have a hard job at all. Most of the crew were pretty harmless. Boy you shoulda seen all the sweat dripping off the bouys... heaps and heaps. Oh NICE glasses Gutsy .... he must wanna impress the girls. Pete announced on stage that the Porkers will be returning to the Gabba Hotel in Late April. WOAH!!!!!!!!! I couldn't see Gutsy when he got down Off stage to play alcohol amongst the crew. He looked like he was being huddled around. Oh he loves it girls! My feet couldn't stand still for 2 seconds- bloody awesome feelin wanting to skank ya arse off with a huge smile on ya dial (and singing the top of ya lungs). Seems as though no one could stand still. Why does one wanker I can't stand a bar of ALWAYS pick to skank next to me - when he bothers showing up to big note himself at interstate/ international acts?
Shitloads of merch on sale- t shirts and cds. I shoulda paid more attention to what was there- I will at the Rose and Crown. OK I'm goin to spill my beans here- I thought at the start of the nite- BEER IS GOOD- but I obviously must have taste tested a lot of beer last nite as I awoke on my couch with a full cup of coffee (not touched), sandwich crumbs and the back door wide open. First time I have ever fallen asleep like that.
OK catch ya at Rose and Crown for those goin! I'm drivin so NO BEERS for me! (Phew! - I hear some say!)
