Currently On the Injured Reserve:

Jared Mayberry (Thursday, October 6th, 2005)
The Bakersfield Nazis have not released any official
news about Mayberry's collarbone injury, but reportedly
the running back suffered the injury late Thursday night at
a team practice. There is currently no timetable for his
return.
All indications point to Mayberry being out for an extended
period of time, as the Nazis signed veteran running
back Jacob Abel later that night.
Cut from the Team:

Samir Younes (Friday, October 14th, 2005)
Rumors were confirmed friday afternoon when Coach
Eric Moland of the Bakersfield Nazis released information
concerning cornerback Samir Younes, stating irreconcilable
differences as the  reason for Younes' departure from the
team.
Younes, it is rumored, could not handle the task of
continuing  on with practices after Jared Mayberry (IR)
broke his collarbone earlier this month. Younes missed two
consecutive practices and was put on suspension, but was
later cut from the team. An anonymous source close to the
team claims Younes was cut because he's a pansy.
Chances are that Younes will soon be reinstated, but we'll
see.
Cut from the Team:

Jacob Abel (Friday, October 14th, 2005)
The Bakersfield Nazis released running back Jacob Abel
late Friday night after Abel failed to come to practice for
the fourth consecutive day, citing a full stomach as his
most recent excuse. "I just ate," said Abel. "I couldn't go
running around with those n00bs on a full stomach."
The Nazis don't seem to be regretting this decision, though,
and are currently scouting rookie prospect, Matthew
Newfield.
