Learn to Skate
The Skating Club of Worcester, Inc. offers the only Learn to Skate Program at the Buffone Arena that is sanctioned by United States Figure Skating and that is taught by members of the Professional Skaters Association.
About Learn to Skate:
The Skating Club of Worcester, Inc. (SCOW) offeres the United States Figure Skating (USFS) basic skills program, The Basic 8 Program.

This carefully planned program teaches skills in a series of eight progressively difficult levels which allow the beginning skater to gain comfort on the ice through the achievement of the basic knowledge and skills needed to advance into the next level.

Each Learn to Skate registration includes membership in the USFS, a membership card, a membership patch, a basic skills record book, and general liability insurance coverage.

Learn to Skate sessions run for eight weeks.  Classes take place on Friday evenings from 6:00-6:50.  Each session costs $110.  Skate rentals are available through the rink $4
