| Danny was driving next and Ashley wanted to sleep so she sat in the back with Jose. Ashawee was up in the front playing with the radio again. �Quack Quack... this is Shake your ass, do you hear me?� ashawee kept talking to herself on the radio and she was definitely amused by it. �Look Quack Quack, I would really appreciate it if you would quite messing with your radio!� Said a voice from the radio. Ashawee jumped and yelled �EP!� Jose was like wow. Danny was laughing. �He wants you to stop flirting with yourself ashawee.� Said Laura from the back. �Shut up Laura!� ashawee yelled. �Hello�this is Shake your ass�who just spoke?� Ashawee said. �I�m�uh�Cool Guy.� The voice said. �Well Cool Guy, how are you?� ash said. �I�m fine, and I would wish that you stop talking.� Cool Guy said. �Oh come on you your amused. Don�t deny it.� Ash said laughing. �No, what are you 4?� Asked Cool Guy. �Wrong! I�m 5!� ash said. And we all laughed. �Well anyway, I�m going to go ok? Nice meeting you Cool Guy.� Ashe said turning off the radio. We kept laughing and then a silver truck cut us off and Danny swerved. We skidded off the side of the road and onto the sand. Ashleigh hit the window and hit the windshield. Laura and dale hit the seat in front of them, Jose and Ashley fell onto the floor of the expedition and Danny hit the steering wheel. Jose and Ashley were the first out of the car, followed by Dale and Laura. Ashawee was trying to get out but lacked the strength to move yet. Danny was inching his way out of the car. Jose helped Ashleigh out of the car and then they all just stood there looking at the car. Not knowing what to say. �Well that was adventurous.� Jose said. �Not like a headache.� Ashleigh said rubbing her head. �I know how you feel ash.� Laura said. �Yeah, are you brains oozing out of your scull too?� Ash said lying down on the dirt. �Yeah maybe.� Laura said. �Well what are we going to do?� Danny said. Helping Ashley with her sprang arm. �I don�t know what are we going to do?� Dale said looking both ways and the roads were deserted. �I cant believe you Danny, weren�t you watching the road?� Dale yelled very mad. �Yo, man it wasn�t my fault! The truck cut me off.� Danny yelled back. They both were only an inch apart. �Hey�hey�hey�calm down. And break it up!� Ashleigh said pushing them apart. �Ok look, I guess I have to be the mature one around here�look I saw a gas station a couple of miles back. I will just walk back and get some help ok?� Ashleigh said picking up a water bottle from the back. She started walking back from where they came. Jose ran up behind her. �I�m COMING WITH YOU.� Jose said and Ashleigh agreed. They have been walking for hours. Talking occasionally, but not too much. �Wow, my head.� Ashleigh said rubbing her temple again. �Here, lets rest�take a drink of this.� He said handing her the water. �Thanks.� She said taking a swig and handing it back to him. Then he took a swig. �Think we will ever find this gas station?� Jose said looking into the distance as far as he could. �I hope.� Ashleigh said getting up and walking again. Then she saw it and ran as fast as she could toward it. With Jose behind her. She was out of breath when she reached the station. Jose came up behind her and grabbed her shoulders so she would collapse. �Hey you run pretty fast.� He said catching his breath. Ashleigh nodded and then went inside. The guy was sitting behind the counter. Can I help you?� The guy asked. �Yea we broke down a couple of miles back can you help us?� Jose asked. �Sure.� The guy said. And he grabbed his car keys and we followed him to his truck. He gestured for us to get into the truck. While looking at Jose uneasily Ashleigh climbed in. �For the last time it wasn�t my fucking fault!� Danny yelled from under the hood. �We know its not.� Ashley said. �No, of course not, it was the trucks fault right?� Dale said sitting down in the car. �Come on guys, stop fighting, I�m worried about Ashawee and Jose. They have been gone for a long time.� Laura said on her tippy toes looking for any sign of life. �Yea, I mean if the station was only a couple of miles back, then they should have gotten there by now.� Dale said. �Here comes a tow truck!� Laura yelled as the tow truck came to a stop in front of them. Jose came out followed by Ashleigh. �Hey you made it!� Dale said. �Did you ever doubt such a fabulous couple?� Ashleigh asked. And they all shook their heads and laughed. �That�s what I thought.� Ashleigh said. �Hey Tim can you fix it?� Jose asked. �Well, yea.� And he took out a couple of jumper cables and hooked then up to both cars. The he jumped started the car and it ran. �Thanks Tim! You the greatest how much do we owe you? Ashleigh asked. �Well a date wouldn�t be bad.� He said smirking. �Well, um� I�m taken.� She said grabbing Jose�s hand. �I�m only kidding, that will be say�about 20 bucks.� Tim said. And I quickly let go of Jose�s hand and blushed. While dale payed the guy everybody got into the car. Ashleigh didn�t want to sit up in front anymore so she sat by Laura. More like she made Laura sit by her. They were in the very back whispering. �I saw how you grabbed Jose�s hand.� Laura said. �Shut up and go to sleep.� Ashleigh said. �You might have a concussion, I wouldn�t go to sleep if I were you.� Laura said. �Well you�re not me.� And Ashleigh curled up and went to sleep. Both Ashley�s and Danny were sleeping. While Laura, Jose and dale stayed up. �It�s the sexual tension, you just have to ask her out.� Laura said. And dale laughed. �Hey how far is the next town from here?� Dale asked Jose who had the map in front of him. �About 2 miles�I will ask her when I feel like asking her. The time has to be right.� Jose said to the both of them. �When will that be? When you guys are about to die right?� Laura said. �No.� he said flatly. And then he went in the back with Ashleigh and Laura scooted up to the front. |
