According to our Dr.Krauser there are provissions for expanding the district but we are totally unable to develop another one! Monroe County has only 4 school districts! Our area has the most number of students,Bethlehem is the only other one comming close. Northampton County has 6! Wouldn't it seem more practical (economically speaking)to ask the Commonwealth. I must say as a parent I am very proud of all the degreed people serving our community-but the basic lack of services up here is distressing! I furthermore feel a police station is a wonderful idea as long as it isn't placed too closely to any one school. These past two weeks have been very hard all the bomb threats at Intermediate North are wearing on my nerves!!!I have teaching experience as well as PTA leadership experience & I feel very strongly this area needs a national PTA run by people that spend more time with their kids than they do. The town of Northampton and Scranton are the closest areas belonging to the National PTA.
