Welcome to the history behind "Steven Cousins: Higher Than Gold". My name is Sarah,and I am the founder behind this club, and I am joined on board by my co-founder and webmaster, Heather. The idea for this club came out of a conversation I shared with Steven on March 17, 2001. We are standing in a elegant hotel in Tennessee chatting about skating, and I mentioned I was in Ilia Kulik's fan club, Kulik's Krew. Steven then mentioned he did not have a fan club, and decided to see what I could do to remedy that situation. Hence "Higher Than Gold." I hope this club grows as new and old fans alike come on board in support of Steven Cousins. I have met him twice, and he is a very geuine person, who deserves to have devoted fans who can give back, after all he shares with us. Please join us in saluting one of the finest skaters Great Britian has ever produced. He has been skating in Target Stars on Ice for three years now, and I do believe it is time he was awarded his own fan base. Welcome once again, to Steven Cousins: Higher Than Gold. Hello Steven Fans!    Thanks so much for stopping by our site.  I am the designer and webmaster, so if you have any suggestions or comments, they will most likely be sent to me.  Please, feel free to email me anytime. I'm so glad to be a part of this website, and it hope it becomes a favorite of yours.  Steven is such a wonderful athlete and great person.  You have only to read all the encounters with him from his fans to know this.  He always makes time to talk with or just smile for his fans, and that's so important.  Its always refreshing to find a celebrity who is also a ginuine person, and Steven is just that!   I plan for this site to keep growing, so I hope you check by frequently because you may just find something new! Most of all, I plan for this to be a very interactive site, so please, participate! Tell us your opinions in the polls section, recall SOI shows or meeting Steven in the Encouters section, or just meet other fans in the Message Board.
