I like the traditional ska much more than the pop-ska, frat-ska, etc. I realize ska is a crossover genre and can mix with anything, but some of the stuff out there that is called 'ska' is not even close, in my opinion. But each their own - that's the beau
y of a ska show, there's different crowds there.
I would like to hear more of a little known 'original' band called Prince Buster and the All Stars. I heard them recently on a compilation, and for any fan of traditional ska, they are the Real Deal. I looked them up on the net but could find nothing. If
nybody knows anything about them (history, do they still play, etc.?) please e-mail me.
