The end of the 18th found the Americans fighting for St. Sauveur on the coast.  Control of this town would cut the pennisula in half, thereby technically achieving a victory.  Victory conditions may be hard to determine, but in this case should be based on casualty rate.  The Americans have suffered enormous casualties.
The AB attempt again to take St. Sauveur, with the usual near-catastrophic results.  High command decides this AB BG is overdue for replacement due to attrition (it has already been reinforced).  The HQ staff will come to rue this decision.
The final results.  The best decision in retrospect would have been to either hold ground gained or continue fighting. (Click here to continue to the next page)
