Marijuana Prescriptions

Here's some more controversy for ya!

A "prescription" is not really a prescription because there is NO state pharmacy to dispense such medicine - which forces patients to seek the black market for their medicine or if you have any kind of green thumb you can grow your own.

Prop 215 says that in order to medicate yourself legally you must have a doctor's recommendation! & here's the hard part -- Trying to find a doctor to recommend marijuana much less - trying find a local doctor is worse than trying to find a needle in a haystack!
Not only do you have to have a doctor's recommendation but in order to satisfy any possible court or police action - it's important to have the recommendation as local as you can get it or if you can get both like myself you can "inhale" a whole lot easier.

I just found out that - the courts have a right to question the validity of a doctor's recommendation - and all though Prop 215 was supposed to allow us (patients & caregivers) exemption from the State Laws of possession - Attorney General added that we are not exeempt but the doctor's recommendation can only be used in an affirmative defense.  Meaning that we can still be busted and have to "prove" our need in court! -- Thus it's important to have a local Doctor for reference.

I would also consider having some kind of copy of recommendation with you at all times! because sometimes you can avoid arrest at the Officer's discretion;
and avoiding arrest is what "Legalizing" is all about!
