Well, I guess I could start with listing many beleifes from many other philosophers - but then again, wouldn't really be MY phiilosophy now would it!?
So I'll just say, I believe in Love! I beleive that love does indeed conquer all (but only if all wish to be conquered)!
My son and I - We may not have much in material gain - what we do have is unconditional love and compassion for each other as well as our fellow human & animals. With this love and togetherness the Goddess & God provide everything else.
I've been through many lessons in life, from one extreme to the other: From the witness of a birth of a child to beating of a childs soul - to the brutal termination of life! I have been taught by many of the best - from the Hell's Angels Schooling of Ladysship - to the College of Spiritual Enlightenment with the Grateful Dead and the Rainbow Gatherings.- to the Survival Academy of Motherhood!
I believe the true gift of freedom lies in that of spiritual Unity with your lifetime lover. For only then are you truly free in trust, passion, & love - only when finally united with your soul mate, do you find the true meaning of belonging!!
To this day I have not been able to truly trust ANY man - (well if you have read any of my darkness then you would understand why)! I have NEVER felt passion or true love in ANY man's arms - yet I believe!! I've had dreams!
Some call me a dreamer - yet I have the last laugh, for through love of thyself and faith of sincerety, I have turned most of my dreams into realities! Some people would call my dreams simplistic and foolish! Yet I say -- who is the fool?
Is life for working your fingers to the bone making some asshole rich just so you can barely afford to pay your rent? day after day? -- is that what you live for? -- I mean don't get me wrong - i do understand the need for work and survival in todays society -- but I think there's more to it! I think that's where most of you are missing it!
I myself have grabbed a peice of paradise - we may not have a lot of money - its called poverty with a view! -- but what I have learned in this small beautiful town is that there IS more to life than the mundane 9-5!
Its watching the sunsets - the beauty of creation of a new day - a spiritual baptism in the fresh water of a beautiful lake, watching the eagles teach their young how to fish, walking with coyotes in the wilderness, letting the red tailed hawk lead the path! Talking to the trees - listening to the songs of the wind! - finding your balance and belonging with nature - of discovering WHY WE ARE TRULY HERE!!
