 
Daidouji Tomoyo is the daughter of Daidouji Sonomi (Amamiya is her maiden name) and of a man we never hear of. She is only child. She is Sakura's best friend and, as we discover, her distant cousin. She is the only friend of Sakura who knows of her incredible adventures. She is there almost all the time to help her with the cards... That gives her a good occasion to create extravagant costumes and to film her in action. Every reason is good to film the "most beautiful girl in Tomoeda". Tomoyo is a very good singer. She participated in a lot of contests. The song card and the voice card were really impressed by her talent. She also cooks well. She looks like a very discreet and shy girl, we never see her angry. At the beginning of the manga, everything lets us think that she has a crush on Touya, but we later discover that she likes the way he looks like his sister. In fact, it is Sakura she loves. Even though she knows what she feels, she always tries to help Sakura with her love stories.
