John is buried at Old Shooting Creek Baptist Church Cemetary, Shooting Creek, Clay County, North Carolina.
Nancy died as a result of a fall from the observation platform of a train. The exact date is unknown.
Our understanding is that Nancy died when Renvy was about 4-5 months old which would have been in 1848 or 1849. She died in N.C. We understand that Renvy and her siblings were then raised by their grandmother (Nancy's mother). Renvy is on the 1896 roles in Oklahoma, but not the 1899 census. We're not sure what happened. One of her sisters died in Oklahoma, so we believe Renvy also died there.
