| Slalom Equipment <sample slalom skateboard pic> To get started, you need a slalom deck, which usually have a slight camber and some flex, this helps you pump the board and gives extra traction. The wheelbase ranges from 18" for tight slalom to 23" for giant slalom.. Slalom trucks are quick turning, have narrow hangars, and uses soft bushings. Use wedge pads to tune the trucks, quickening the frontt and slow the rear. Slalom wheels are grippy and designed with either a squared off edge or lip.. Get some cones, find a mellow downhill with nice fresh asphalt, set up a course, and you are ready to go! |
