Hello, this is Dennis Ko, fellow Western High School student.  I have nicknames such as "burnt rice" and "turbo" 
(from my glory days in track).  Well, I decided to contribute to Joey's webpage with my flair for writing because 
this webpage obviously needs some help.  Every week, you will have the chance to perceive the mind of a Korean in
 a high school world.  

My first article- Title: The Korean Discrimination

Why is it that being Korean these days is as dangerous as being Arabic, Black, or Jewish? Well, my people, North 
Korea has been trying to build nuclear weapons.  Around 10 people have asked me if I was North Korean or South
 Korean. What the hell, does it freaking matter? Do you think, I'm a spy for North Korea. If you people could get it
 into your thick heads the fact that no one escapes communist North Korea, then you won't ask me anymore 
idiotic questions. Speaking of Koreans, the Korean Club is now shut down. Wtf?! I smell conspiracy. Isn't it a little  
weird that the Korean Club disbands as soon as news about North Korea hits? Well, maybe I'm a little paranoid.....
but you never know. Mrs. Jensen (yearbook teacher) told me that the Korean Club has been inactive. Come on
my yellow brothers, let us rebuild the Korean Club into a great club. So the next time you see a Korean in school, 
don't be afraid to talk to him or her. He or she is a REAL person like you and I. Well, I glad to get that off my chest.

   Title: The Restroom Issue

Hello, this is burnt rice speaking his mind once again. Joey has asked me to focus more on Western High School, so I have 
decided to focus on the outrage which the school has bestowed on us guys. It seems that one of the cleanest boy's restroom
 has become property of the girls. That just ticks me off. The times that I have usually take a dump in school is during 2nd period,
 Mr. Orloff's class. The two restrooms adjacent to Mr. Orloff are the dirtiest. Believe me, I had experiences too frightening  to
 explain. Word to the wise, use the restroom next to the JROTC room. It is squeaky clean compared to restroom 1 (next to room
 50) and restroom 2 (next to the forum). I don't know how they keep it clean. My guess is that JROTC students  have to clean the
 bathroom with toothbrushes, just like the military. Oh crap! Since I told the secret, I bet you that Monday morning, 2nd period,
 the JROTC  restroom will be flooded with gigantic turds. Dangit. Well, I guess I should practice holding my poo poo. Man! The 
girls get everything! I have interviewed ASB Junior Class President, Bellal Moghis or "Mogster" on the situation.  All I got was a 
"I'll look into it" reply from him. Taking away restroom is like taking away a piece of our lives. Where else can students relieve 
their tension? Equality, my foot! The guys and girls should have the same number of restrooms. True, that we guys have the 
"all terrain" item in which we can pee anywhere, but we should have the same number of restrooms. I suggest  that someone 
start a petition in which we demand to get our restroom back. Go, go! Go to your presidents and ask for justice. That is all. Well,
 if you'll  excuse me, I have to take care of some "business" myself. Catch ya  later.

Mariah Carey: To Forgive or Not to Forgive?

Oh Mariah, Mariah, you were the sole reason for my dirty bedsheets when I was a young lad. But hark, you told the world that you didn't like Asians because your friend was raped by one. Oh how rich is the ignorance? I got a comparison to show your stupidity. If the world suddenly ran out of rice, it would be similar to blaming Asians for the incident. You can't let one person dictate an entire race or culture. But, my dislike towards you didn't leave a dent on your falling career. The movie Glitter made me cry because it was craptacular and your singing was in the dumps. Now you say that "you made it through the rain." I say bullshit. There are things that can't be forgiven and your new music video "Boy" which reveals heavy Asian influences can't erase the remarks that you said. It would be like having John Rocker put in a cameo for BET. It's ridiculous. Not only does "Boy" really really suck, it pisses me off even more. A formal apology instead of an indirect apology would be the only way that you could clear your name. Besides, I am more offended by the music video rather than proud. Oh yeah, your boobies are starting to sag too.

Note: This song does not reflect the contents of my "danger zone." It's just a song that I made up on my own by listening to this song numerous times and hearing too much stereotypes of Asians having small "things." Of course, I don't have that problem. : )
