- Visitor's Center -

The Visitors Center has come a long way since the Van Der Kamp's began camping at Patrick's Point. Originally, the center was in a small building near the Ranger's cabins. The center was actually just a gift shop and had a wide selection of shirts; three I think. In the late 90's, a new Entrance Station was built and that small Visitor's Center was moved to a small portable which sat in the parking lot. Finally in 2000, the real Visitor's Center was finished, shown above. The center has many interesting exhibits about the park and a small gift shop with a wide selection of shirts; five I think. The center is very nice and is a nice welcome for Patrick's Point veterans and rookies.
