- Campfire Center -

The Campfire Center, a great place to have some fun at night if you are tired of making fun of your family. You can come here to make fun of so much...I mean to learn so much. In the beginning, the Campfire Center was a great place. Ranger Tom would lead great campfire songs like, "Top-Notcher", "My Bonnie", and many more. Those were good times. But, Ranger Tom has long since retired (though his legend will live forever) and the programs repeat themselves each year. The center is a great place to go if you are a first time visitor. The programs are decent and you will enjoy yourself as long as their aren't three teenagers on the back row making jokes and laughing and carrying on. Jr. Rangers receive awards at the beginning of the program, you may sometimes get to yell "Hey Campers, it's Campfire Time." They may ask who has been coming to Patrick's Point the longest (1984 baby), who traveled the furthest to get there (Santa Barbara baby) and then you can get some hot cocoa is at the end of the program. It's a good time for all. Remember, if you drive to campfire make sure to turn on the A's game, and if you walk make sure to scare your family and friends in the dark on the way back to camp.
