 A/FD, or both.

1.  (SEC) 
	- This question turned out to be bunk (I am only human).  What I intened for you
 to do was to notice that while you are flying over a wildlife area, which normally means
 you are REQUESTED not REQUIRED to fly at least 2,000 feet above terrain, this case is
 different.  You are in fact flying over the Yosemite National park which means you are
 REQUIRED to fly 2,000 feet above terrain within 2,000 feet horizontal.  This is stated
 in the blue box in the middle of the wildife area.

2.  (SEC/AFD) 
	- 118.05: AWOS-3 which gives you altimeter, wind, temp/dewpoint, density altitude,
	 visibility, clouds/ceiling
	- (760) 934-6020

3.  (SEC)
	- 122.15 using the Mammoth RCO
	- You are talking to Riverside FSS (Riverside Radio)

4.  (AFD)
	- No, Mammoth only has S2 services (minor airframe and minor powerplant)
	- NOTE: older A/FD's state that Mammoth has S4 services (Major airframe and Major
	 powerplant)

5.  (AFD)
	- The Mariposa runway can only support 12,000lbs on a single wheel aircraft main
	 gear
	- You can find this under the runway data that says S-12 meaning aircraft having
	 a single wheel on each main gear cannot weigh more that 12,000lbs at this airport.


6.  (SEC)
	- No, while the airport itself may be legal VFR (Class G 1sm, clear of clouds), you
	 would need to descend through the haze while still in Class E (3sm, 152)

7.  (AFD)
	- 30nm: Because the the VOR is unusable 280�-330� beyond 30nm below 2,500ft.
	- NOTE: the newest A/FD does not contain this restriction, so in that case since
	 the VOR is a Low Altitude (L) VOR it is usable out to 40nm.

8.  (AFD)
	- Another bunk question.  What I was trying to get you to realize in this case was
	 that Modesto has rescue and firefighting equipement (in Modesto's case ARFF index
	 A), while Castle has none.

9.  (AFD)
	- 4 bar VASI on the left side of the runway
	- REIL: Runway End Identifier Lights

10.  (AFD)
	- ASOS on 127.7 from 0500-1500Z
	- LAWRS from 1500-0500Z: Limited Aviation Weather Reorting Station, observers
	 report cloud height, weather, obstructions to vision, temp and dewpoint (in most
	 cases), surface wind, altimeter and pertinent remarks.

	- Landing Rights Airport (LRA): This is an airport at which you can land after
	 crossing the border however, aplication for permission to land must be filed
	 for in advance.  And, at least 1 hour advance notice must be given to customs.
	- This differs from an AOE (Airport of Entry) in that at an AOE you do not need
	 to apply for permission to land.  You still however need to give at least 1 hours
	 notice.
