| Our
club could not have been as successful as it is today if it weren't for
the enormous time and effort given to us by our advisor, Dr. Chen.
Dr. Chen works in the Human Performance department and has been the
advisor for the badminton club for many years now. He has certainly seen
how our club has progressed. He quotes:
"Our club has a brilliant history as a Northern California Collegiate Champion twice. We are one of the most popular and fun club on campus every year. It is also a good opportunity for scholarship when badminton becomes a NCAA sport in 2002." |

As an official club on campus, we offer San Jose State students gym time so that they can play badminton. Whether it be for keeping in shape, for competition, or for fun, our club has been growing again ever since 1999. Due to the busy everyday schedules of our members, members come and play at their own leisure. In addition, we offer tryouts for game positions for NICBL games. Schools that we usually play include Stanford, Berkeley, and Davis. This year we have an outstanding team. It seems as though our strength grows with every year. If you're thinking of joining, we welcome new members at any time.
