BACON FAMILY

First account of the Bacon line is in France where Etienne and Madeleine (Fr�ron) Bacon had son, Gilles.
Gilles left Normandy about 1643 to come to Canada.
He married Marie Tavernier 2 May 1647 in Quebec. They had children:

1. Eustache born 11 Sep 1650 in Quebec. He married Louise Guimond.
2. Marie-Madeleine baptized 19 Oct 1653. She became a Nun with the Nursing Sisters of the Hotel-Dieu of Quebec.

Eustache and Louise had 9 children. Their daughter, Jeanne, born 13 Nov 1684, ends our Bacon line. She married Zacharie Cloutier in 1708.
