I enlisted in the Army National Guard in July 1998.  I went to basic training on 02 NOV 98 in Anniston, AL at Ft. McClellan.  My basic and AIT were integrated and it was a long 18 weeks, but probably the best 18 weeks of my life.  I am now an MP in a unit at Camp San Luis Obispo.  I should be transferring to an Airborne Supply unit in Santa Barbara VERY soon.  I will go airborne as soon as I get there.

This is me in my TCP postition with my M60.  I think I was lying there for almost 4 hours waiting for the enemy to cross our path.  It was about 30 degrees out there at 2pm.  I love this stuff!

(BELOW)  This was my team.  We took this picture because the ground was frozen over.  Being from California, we thought that was pretty cool.

Here I am looking super-pretty in my turret, ready to go get the bad guys.  I was the 60 gunner, so I spent ALOT of time up there.

(ABOVE) Two of my friends from basic...Chewie is the one in the middle (that cute one on the left is me).  It was snowing and the three of us are from California...  We were a LITTLE excited.  The snow was great, but a series of tornados followed it and we spent about 4 nights on the latrine floor.  (LEFT) This was our convoy leaving for a night mission...MSR recon.  There I am with my 60 again...we were literally inseparable!
