THE INTERIOR OF THE PROP LASER RIFLE

rifleint2.jpg (20144 bytes) An overall view of the interior of the laser rifle. The empty space to the left above the pistol grip was the main battery housing. The pistol grip itself was reinforced by a block of wood cut to fit. There is a smaller block of wood to the right under the barrel. The front mount for the sling attached to this.
A closer view of the workings of the laser rifle. The wiring proved impossible to trace. rifleint1.jpg (21925 bytes)
rifleint3.jpg (27557 bytes) An even closer view. The rifle is actually upside down here. Note that the wiring connections were made not with solder, but hot glue! Who the hell built this thing, Martha Stewart?! As Larry wisely recommends in his article, don’t try this at home, kids!
