Paris..oohhh sore feet & legs, that's one of the things we got there, coz like the real touristsjoekez we tried to see lots & lots of things on just 3 days :)
After the first day we were both already injured..but it's not what you think it is...Just try the onion soup there and you'll know what we're talking 'bout :p
On the next morning we already forgot about our injury and went to have a yummy breakfast in the hotel..hhmm the chocolate bread and fresh french bread..having breakfast together that's one of those things we already been dreaming about when we talked on the phone before we met..and we didn't add "in Paris" yet..wow!
After the delicious morning foodies we made ourselves really tired again..so tired we became really hungry and decided to have some foodies in a very unique place..Mc Donalds hehehe..it was really crowded there and Tommeke got a bit upset at the not really inviting French couple sitting at one of the tables..
don't worry, coz that experience was already forgotten soon when we sat down on a bench and got an invisible photographer to take out picture (better than the gays :p)
And you know what got us exhausted? the sacred heart!! A very big climb that already starts once you get out of the metro..but very worth the effort..just ask us..coz once up you can have some waffle with cream..kidding! the view is really great and the sacred heart itself is really impressive!
the 3d day...uh oh..you can already guess it huh..we're both so tired even though we had a great sleep..trying to get into the Louvre isn't easy at all, coz when you get there you can easily find out that your idea of going to see the Mona Lisa isn't exactly the most original one..And so we didn't go in and decided to take the wrong overcrowded subway instead..what a thrill!:))
That was really the best thing that could happen coz it got the 2 of us very awake again...we almost left Paris sooner than planned, but luckily it wasn't possible because we couldn't get a sooner train..It made us go find a place to eat in the Quartier Latin, in a Greek restaurant after buying some souvenirs first..and so it really turned out into a super-3days together in Paris..wow!
