This association was brought about due to the growing number of residents of St. Joseph as well as the need for communication between landlords and tenants. We have a particular interest in this association and will do our best to educate tenants on resources available to them. Often times, we see a tenant being railroaded by a landlord because the tenant doesn't know their rights and the landlord doesn't know the law.
If ever in any doubt, please contact an attorney. We will do our best to keep up-to-date on happenings as well as laws for landlords and tenants.
We also have created a list of landlords who are undesireable to rent from. Information to this list is available for association members only.
We will do our best to maintain a blog about current events, laws, and activity. We will also do our best to maintain a calendar. If you are interested in becoming a member of the association, please e-mail us with your request.
