Dear Mr Vitteveen,

thank you very much for your mail. Interesting how information spread and
fly over the world.
The city of Växj�Ehas around 5800 employees in different department and
municipality owned companies such as energy and housing companies. The power
is very decentralised in Sweden and the municipalities are responsible for
schools, elderly care, kindergarten, social service, environment, streets,
water etc. It is financed by income tax approx. 30% of normal income. Many
municipalities also has there own housing and energy company.

About waste, yes we have many researchers here in this area since we have
laws on sorting garbage and also a big debate on if it is sustainable and
