What I'm reading today:
Introduction to Aristotle
Time Management from the Inside Out
Today was another of those "homeschool in your jammies" days.  L was up at 1am and didn't want to go back to sleep.  I think C-SPAN just proved to be too fascinating to him.  He's my budding politician.  Just like his big brother.  *sigh*  (You may interpret that *sigh* in any manner you choose and you will probably be right.)  We did finish school.  Of course we had to sacrifice all extra activities to do so.  Piano took a long time today because we received our Metronome yesterday.  Stanley needs some serious work with his timing.  On a good note, he aced his first Grammar test.  That's saying a lot for a child of mine.  Grammar is my least favorite subject.  Of course, now that I am learning about it I am finding it quite fascinating.  Maybe I'll leave Art as my least favorite subject.  I had K & L color this evening.  K is doing great on his colors.  He had his Thomas coloring book and colored all the trains the correct color and called them all the correct colors.  He also noted that there were two rabbits on the page he colored.  I'm not sure if that's because we've read this book before though.  We have been working on his numbers but I don't know if he's truly grasped the concept yet.  I need to start working on his shapes next.  L colored a Blue's Clues coloring book.  We are working on his sharing skills.  His idea of coloring with Mommy is to hold two crayons in his hand until Mommy picks up a crayon.  Then he immediately drops one of the crayons (in his right hand so I'm hoping he's right-handed...one leftie is enough for me) and grabs the crayon Mommy is trying to use.  This is why Blue is three different shades of Blue.
Who'd a thunk on this night that 3.5 yrs later I'd be coloring with K?  (Yes, all that equipment was his.)
