| If I had known Louis was going to sleep so well last night I never would have forced myself to stay awake through the last police show on CourtTV. Oh, well. Hoping for the same tonight. We had baseball this morning. It turns out that the second person to volunteer to be a coach for the team has completely disappeared. I'm thinking there is some sort of curse? Two people completely disappear off the face of the earth...what do they have in common? Well, aside from being fathers to 8-year-old children and living in Ontario, they both volunteered to coach T-Ball...What would Nero Wolfe do? After that we had a nice cool lunch of salad because it was darn hot here today. (sftl) How hot was it? I have no idea but it's 9pm right now and it's still 70 so that should give you a good idea. After lunch we went swimming of course. Stanley stayed in so long that he was more than shrivelled. I watched the As beat the team formerly known as the Anaheim Angels. It was a great game. What a wonderful pitching duel. *sigh* It was just beautiful...the way baseball was meant to be. Not full of those endless runs and homeruns with all those annoying fireworks. I cleaned out a few more boxes in the garage. At this rate I should be done before Stanley gets married and moves out. I found some money in an envelope marked "Stanley" so he went off to Target and Barnes and Noble to spend it. He's been saving for a while for a My Little Pony music CD and a How to Draw My Little Pony book. My son is so liberated. And thank goodness I just saved this because my plug was a bit loose and the computer turned off.
