Club Constitution
The St. Joseph’s College
Student Chapter of the ACM
Article I – Name
The name of the organization
shall be “The St. Joseph's College Student Chapter Of the Association for
Computing Machinery”
Article II – Purpose
The Purpose of this organization shall be to
provide an extracurricular environment to accommodate the interests of students
interested in Computer science. The organization shall also charter an
Honor Society for students of Computer Science at Saint Joseph’s College.
Article III – Membership
Membership in this organization shall be open
to any Saint Joseph’s College student who is interested in Computer Science.
Article IV - Officers
Section 1. The officers
of the organization shall consist of a President, Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer.
Section 2. These officers shall be elected at the second meeting
of the fall semester, by a simple majority vote of the members in attendance.
Section 3. Their term of office shall be for one year.
Section 4. Any officer may be removed for cause by a vote of
the membership.
Article V - Duties
of Officers
Section 1. It shall be the duty of the president:

To preside at
the meeting in the Presidents absence.
To assist the
President when necessary.
Section 3. It shall be the duty of the Secretary:
To record minutes
of all meetings and submit a copy of each to

budget for the club.
