Harvest Soup
Ingredients:
2 lb. Hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
32 ounces beef broth
2 cans (1 lb. 13oz. each) crushed tomatoes
2 teaspoons salt
16 oz. frozen corn
16 oz. frozen lima beans
16 oz. frozen cut green beans
16 oz. frozen cut carrots
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Assembly Directions:
In a 2 gallon pot, sauté beef and onion until brown. Drain excess fat. Add broth, tomatoes, salt, and Worcestershire. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add all vegetables. Simmer covered until vegetables are tender and the flavors blend; about 30 minutes. Serve with hot crusty French or garlic bread and fresh fruit and cheese.
Freezing and Cooking Directions:
Completely cool soup. Pour into freezer bag, squeeze out excess air. Freeze flat. To serve thaw completely and heat in microwave or stovetop.
