Promotion Criteria

Recruit to Private

Minimum Requirements

- Attendance for at least 10 corps instruction meetings
- Basic First Aid certificate
- Attendence of Sec. 1 Orientation Camp

Private to Lance Corporal

Minimum Requirements

- Attendance for at least 20 corps instruction meetings
- Basic First Aid certificate
- At least 1 proficiency badge from any of the 4 groups

Lance-Corporal to Corporal

Minimum Requirements

- Attendance for at least 20 corps instruction meetings
- Basic First Aid certificate
- At least 1 proficiency badge from any of the 4 groups

Corporal to Sergeant

Minimum Requirements

- Attendance for at least 40 corps instruction meetings
- Basic First Aid certificate
- Basic Leadership Training Course certificate
- At least 6 proficiency badges from any of the 4 groups (Excluding KOTO)
- Knowledge of the Order badge
- National Activity badge OR recommendation by Corps Superintendent

Sergeant to Staff Sergeant

Minimum Requirements

- Attendance for at least 45 corps instruction meetings
- Adult First Aid certificate
- Advanced Leadership Training Course certificate
- At least 2 proficiency badges from each of the 4 groups (including KOTO)
- At least Commissioner's Badge
- Knowledge of the Order badge
- National Activity badge OR recommendation by Corps Superintendent

Staff Sergeant to Cadet Leader

Minimum Requirements

- Attendance for at least 45 corps instruction meetings
- Adult First Aid certificate
- Advanced Leadership Training Course certificate
- At least Chief Commissioner's Badge
- Knowledge of the Order badge
- National Activity badge OR recommendation by Corps Superintendent
