| Art (Kauffman) Kess 45 years have flown by since my last Elvis impersonation --- complete with mini-guitar --- at a Sizzling Sixes party. I moved to Reno in the summer of 1957 and attended Reno High School and the University of Nevada - Reno. After graduation from college in 1965, I taught at a junior high school for part of one year before my ROTC commission resulted in my being called to active duty. I spent a year in Vietnam as an intelligence officer on General Westmoreland's staff and a year in Pasadena at a military intelligence center. In 1968 I became a New York Life Insurance Company agent and have spent the past 33 years in the Reno office. Marcella and I were married in 1987. We share five children (three are mine from my first marriage) and four grandchildren. We love family times and travel and I am an avid sports fan. GO SF Giants, 49ers, Sacramento Kings, and all University of Nevada --- Reno Wolfpack athletics!!! I'm very excited about seeing many of you at our reunion. Here's to a great time on July 13th!!! |
