WINTERS ESSENCE

Wintry breezes from a dark mourn
Chill my yearning soul
The love that sheds from this mortal candle
Bleeds as black as coal
From an icy frost bitten sun
Beckons the freezing essence of snow
This cryogenic blood that flows through me
Lulls me into this dreary cove
Embraced into a glacial dusk
Within this soul blizzard of ice and hail
Only the ardent heat of her presence
Would warmth this love that grows pale
Arctic blackened phlegmatic clouds
Move into this freezing abode
Gusty frigid whirlwinds swirl around me
As this darkened soul distends cold
Where is my love that I long for in yearn
Who would defrost these icesicles of my soul
Her hair of Spring rain
Her voice of Summer breeze I await as this candle wanes glow
Within this den of dusk drenched in frosted fog
There lays a candle that burns in woe
This cave once illuminated by this lustrous flame
Now dims cloaked in this somber snow
A mortal candle in this gloom of life
My love I must find before its too late
Into this cave of sleet gradually immune to the cold
From the frost my love slowly abates
