Sightless Eyes

I scream a silent imploring scream
Through the impenetrable walls of my loneliness
And yet he hears my anguished cries
As though I were standing next to him.

Emotion filled tears
Silently run down my face
And he can feel despondency they contain
From a world away.

My battle torn heart
Beats slowly and quietly
And he can feel it's burdensome weight
As though it were beating in his chest.

My tattered soul speaks
In an unknown tongue of countless horrors
And only his heart
Can translate its meaning.

My disheartened Traveler
Brave white knight of my friendless tortured world
Protecting and guiding me onward to the light
I cannot see from sightless eyes.
