This means that almost all of thier missions go unnoticed by the general populace of the Empire. They seek Glory and Honor in all of thier deeds, as any Klingon worth his gagh would, but they are silent in thier actions, swift in thier attacks, and stealthy in thier kills.
They are like the Shadow of Kahless! They fall upon thier enemies unsuspectingly in the dark, and when the Suns rise again, they are gone, and thier enemies are dead.
They live, fight, and die in silence. But they do these things for the Glory ond Growth of the Empire. Thier Honor is thier own, and thier blades are always wet with the blood of thier enemies!
Shocktroops are soley responsible for such things as obtaining the first Cloacking Technology from the Romulans, ending the war with the Nausicans (before it ever began), and maintaining our borders along the Neutral Zone.
I am afraid that until you are admitted to the Imperial Klingon Shocktroop Division Academy, no more information concerning missions and movements of the IKSDs can be divulged without security clearance.
Shocktroopers are a special breed, as stated above. By this is meant that you not only have to be a warrior above and beyond your fellow brethren, but also have to meet additional requirements before any potential Shocktrooper is allowed to enroll in the Academy.
2. All potential Shocktroopers must have written recomendations from their Da'Har Masters
3.All potential Shocktroopers must have had at least one Solar Year's experience as a member of the Klingon Honor Guard
4. All potential Shocktroopers must be mebers of the Order Of The Betleth
5. All potential Shocktroopers must submit to a full series of evaluation exams, both mental and physical, conducted by the IKSD Commander
6. All potential Shocktroopers will attend a two year apprenticeship under the Shocktrooper Mentor of his/her choice, so long as they make a formal and ceremonial request to the afore metioned Mentor, and they are accepted by said mentor as an apprentice
7. All potential Shocktroopers will willingly consent to any and all approriate genetic manipulations deemed necissary to make their positions as Shocktroopers feesible. (This means that in certain situations, Normal Klingon Physiology, Brek'lal notwithstanding, may not be durable enough to accomplish the mission set before you, and thus certain genetic manipulations are necissary to make it possible that said missions be carried out successfully on hostile enviroment planets, planetoids, moons, asteroids, meteors, etc.)
8. All potential Shocktroopers will undergo the afore mentioned genetic manipulations immediately after they are accepted into the Imperial Klingon Shocktroop Academy. This will take place before any and all Shocktroop Training will begin.
So I ask you, in spite of the advanced weaponry and technology that Shocktroopers alone utilize on a daily basis, the special operations that ensure the security of the entire Empire, the eternal gratitude of those that are aware of our efforts, the pride and honor that you will feel over who and what you have become, and the satisfaction of knowing that you and your fellow warriors alone are the only thing that stands between our enemies and the fall of the Empire, is Honor, and Glory, and Fame what you truly seek? If not, and assuming you fit the other requirements, you may very well have what it takes to be an Imperial Klingon Shocktrooper.
