Up for sale is my 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon.  It has the 5.7 liter LT1 motor with the factory tow package (heavy duty cooling and transmission cooler) plus the 2.93 gears with posi.  It was never used for towing, and has never had a hitch.

It started its life as a stock Roadmaster wagon until 4 years ago.  This is when it had extensive body work done to remove all the body moldings that come on the Roadmaster wagon.  All the holes were properly filled, & rivets were smoothed down.  At the same time it received an Impala SS front bumper, a fiberglass Cowl Hood, Impala SS Grill, and Caprice wagon rear bumper.  It was then painted Black and made to look like an Impala SS wagon.  A few other cosmetic touches were added such as clear corner lights and tinted taillights.  It also rides on a set of factory 17X8.5 Impala SS wheels.  Lastly, the windows were tinted:  35% in the front and 15% in the rear windows.  This wagon gets double takes and looks everywhere!

The wagon currently has 119,000 original miles on it.  It has all power options including the factory CD player and cassette as well as keyless entry system.  The Roadmaster wagon comes with a nicer interior than the other GM wagons.  It also has the neat Vista roof over the middle seat.  This wagon seats 8 people and can fit more than you can imagine with the rear seats folded down.

The wagon has a few mechanical modifications:

1)     Custom PCM tuning for better shift points, gas mileage, and overall driveability.

2)     Custom Cat back exhaust consisting of stainless steel midpipes mated to Flowmaster 40 series mufflers.  Sounds MEAN.

3)     K&N FIPK cold air intake system

4)     Bilstein HD shocks all around with heavy duty Moog rear springs.  The level ride system was removed from the rear.

5)     PIAA headlights (lows & highs)

The following maintenance has been done in the last year:

1)     New steering box

2)     All new rebuilt front end with Moog performance parts

3)     New fuel filter

4)     Coolant flushed and Heater core flushed, new Dexcool replaced

5)     New Transmission fluid, filter, and pan gasket.

6)     New rear diff fluid

7)     A/C was recharged with 134

8)     New Delco platinum spark plugs with New Delco plug wires

9)     New PCV valve

10)   New oil cooler lines

11)    New Bosch wiper blades

12)    New 255/55/17 Michelin Pilot tires ($$$ over $300 each!!)

I drive the wagon 60 miles daily to work and it has been great.  I am getting 18-18.7 mpg in the city and up to 25 mpg on the highway with 87 octane fuel.  The motor is quiet and has great power.  There is a small manifold leak on the driver’s side that goes away 5 minutes after being started.  I never worried about it because it never got worse and I was eventually going to put headers on it. Transmission shifts flawlessly. Here is a video of the car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzZFFefAyWo

The front end is tight (all brand new), but could use a alignment due to the nasty Chicago roads.  I can get this taken care of for the new owner if desired.

All the power options work, the power antenna, windows, keyless remote, hatch release, etc.  That means Everything! The horn works, there is a button on the dash for it.  No warning lights on the dash.

The A/C is ice cold and Heat works very well.  Automatic climate controls works perfectly.

The paint work was done 4 years ago and it is starting to show some wear.  Originally this wagon was white.  Under the hood and around the rear tailgate was not painted.  The door jambs were painted Black.  The paint shows well from 10 feet away but as you get closer you can see the imperfections.  By imperfections I mean touch up spots & orange peel.  There is no fading or mismatched panels.  This wagon has NO RUST, it was a Texas car for most of its life.  The undercarriage still has undercoating and shows very well.  The rear taillights could use a wetsanding and clear coat, but it is not noticeable until you are right next to them. I have the roof racks and they will be included in the sale.

The interior is in good shape.  Only the driver seat and center armrest show minor wear.  The handle for the rear cargo cover is missing, but it is an easy fix.  The dash, door pulls, and airbag were dyed black. It also has Black Michelin heavy duty rubber floor mats. The steering wheel cover is leather and from wheelskins. The dash has no cracks and all the door panels are intact.  The rear tailgate opens both ways and the spare tire and accessories are all there.

The body work alone adds up and not to mention the modifications.  KBB value for the wagon if it was bone stock is:  $ 5,000.  This is a reliable daily driver that is much better than a gas guzzling SUV and far cooler!

I am selling the “SS” Wagon with No Reserve.  I will let the market decide what it is worth.  It has been my daily driver and never let me down.

Please email me with any questions.   I will be glad to give you  my phone number.  Please remember that this is a used vehicle that is 13 years old.  I have done my best to describe the car with words and pictures because I know how hard it is to buy vehicles on the internet.

I will be glad to pick up the winning bidder from the O'hare or Midway airports or the Greyhound Bus station.  A $250.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end.  The car must be paid for in full within 10 days and picked up within 21 days of the auctions end.  Thanks and goodluck!  Remember bidding is a legally binding contract.
